ISRO on Tuesday successfully performed the third orbit maneuver of Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft.
National Space Agency Headquarters said, the next orbit maneuver will be done between 2 to 3 pm on July 20.
ISRO completed the second process of Chandrayaan-3's upper orbit maneuver on July 17.
Chandrayaan-3 will pass through many important phases in 40 days, for landing on moon's surface, it will be taken away from the earth with the help of thrusters fitted in it.
According to ISRO, there is a plan to land Chandrayaan-3 on the moon on August 23 at 5.47 pm.
The soft landing is the most challenging part of the mission, lander Vikram in final stages during Chandrayaan-2 failed to soft land due to path deviation.
If India is able to achieve the objectives of this mission successfully, then it will become the fourth country that have achieved such a feat after America, China and USSR.
