Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza marks the country’s largest carmaker’s entry into the highly-competitive sub-compact SUV segment, which fields cars like Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300.

Scheduled to be launched in March, the Maruti Vitara Brezza will only come in diesel trim and will be offered in a total of six variants – LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi and ZDi+.

One of the most awaited sub-compacts in 2016 and as seen in the spy shots and teaser images, it comes with a lot of style and muscle. The Vitara Brezza stays true to the SUV persona with its boxy features, beefy front fascia and flanks with a stylish set of projector headlamps with DRLs. The grille unit has been nicely integrated with the headlamps and sports and large chrome slat with hammer-like ends on both sides. Below you’ll see a muscular bumper with black plastic cladding that houses the wide air dam, round fog lamps and a sliver skid plate.

Other cosmetic additions offered in the Brezza include a dual-tone body colour option, two-tone ORVMs with integrated turn lights, bumper-mounted turn indicators, plastic under-body cladding and roof rails. The rear profile is also nicely designed and features two-piece tail lamps with combination lights, a rear windscreen wiper and a beefy rear bumper.

Inside the cabin, the Maruti Vitara Brezza comes with nicely laid-out interiors with premium quality upholstery with 60:40 split seats at the rear. The car offers features like a SmartPlay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Inbuilt navigation with Mapcare, keyless entry, reverse parking camera, push-button start, cruise control, cooled upper glovebox, and sliding front armrest. Whereas the safety features include dual airbags with ABS and EBD as standard across all variants.
