Maruti Suzuki has presented the production-ready prototype of its eVX SUV at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Show 2024. This all-electric SUV from the Indian automaker is scheduled to be launched in the country by the year’s end.

Previously showcased at the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo, the eVX model exhibited at the Bharat Expo is tailored for the Indian market, emphasizing extensive localization. Maruti Suzuki intends to export this electric vehicle to various countries, beginning with Europe.
Built on the same platform as the Toyota Urban SUV Concept, utilizing Toyota’s 27PL skateboard architecture, the eVX measures 4,300mm in length, 1,800mm in width, and 1,600mm in height. The SUV will be equipped with a 60kWh battery pack, offering an estimated driving range of up to 550km on a single charge.
Recent sightings of the Maruti Suzuki eVX test mule on Indian roads have revealed key details about its features and technology. The model is expected to include all-LED lights, connected tail lamps, an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, a 360-degree surround camera, flush-fitted rear door handles, a dual-screen dashboard setup, and more.
