On Tuesday, October 17, actress Kriti Sanon secured the prestigious National Film Award in the category of Best Actress for her remarkable performance in the film “Mimi.” Although her victory had been announced earlier in August, the formal award ceremony took place in Delhi on the aforementioned Tuesday.

Kriti embarked on her acting journey alongside Tiger Shroff in the film “Heropanti.” Reflecting on Kriti’s impressive achievement, Tiger expressed, “Kriti just clinched a National Award. In ‘Heropanti,’ she was a young girl, and now she has risen to stardom. I’m not sure why that famous dialogue, ‘Chhoti bachi ho kya’ went viral… but I’m genuinely delighted. Working with Kriti Sanon has been an incredible experience, and she remains the same as she was in ‘Heropanti.’ We’ve reunited after nine years, yet it feels like we worked together just yesterday. Nothing has changed.”

Fans of the dynamic duo will soon have the pleasure of seeing them on screen again in the upcoming film “Ganpath.” Sharing insights about their latest collaboration, Tiger said, “Ganpath represents a unique cinematic venture for me. We’re introducing a fresh world, featuring distinct action sequences and a beautiful love story. It’s a thrilling prospect to work alongside Kriti Sanon, my co-star from ‘Heropanti,’ after almost a decade. I’m eagerly looking forward to you all experiencing ‘Ganpath’ and hope you find it captivating.”

Notably, “Ganpath” also features the legendary Amitabh Bachchan; however, Tiger disclosed that he doesn’t share any scenes with the superstar in the film. Tiger humbly remarked, “Regrettably, I didn’t have the opportunity to share the screen with him or perform scenes alongside him. Nevertheless, merely appearing in the same film as him is an immense honor, not only for me but for any actor fortunate enough to share the screen with such a living legend. I feel blessed and deeply grateful for this opportunity.”
