Sony India has officially introduced the ZV-E10 II, the upgraded version of the original ZV-E10 camera. Designed to elevate the content creation experience, this new model incorporates advanced features and state-of-the-art technology. Priced at Rs 94,990, the Sony ZV-E10 II will be available starting August 27 at Sony Centers, Alpha Flagship stores, leading electronic retailers, and online platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.

The ZV-E10 II comes packed with several innovative features, including the new Cinematic Vlog Setting, which enables users to capture cinematic-style videos with a single tap. This feature automatically adjusts the aspect ratio, frame rate, and autofocus (AF) transition speed, enhancing the overall video quality. Additionally, the camera offers five creative “Looks” and four “Moods” to further enrich the cinematic experience.

A significant upgrade is the enhanced autofocus system, which now features a 759-point Focal Plane Phase-detection AF with Real-time Eye AF for humans, animals, and birds, along with Real-time Tracking. This ensures your subject remains in sharp focus, whether shooting photos or videos.

Internally, the ZV-E10 II boasts substantial improvements over its predecessor. It is equipped with a 26-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor, paired with Sony’s latest BIONZ XR image processing engine, delivering exceptional image quality with high sensitivity and low noise. The camera supports an ISO range of 100 to 32000, making it versatile for various lighting conditions.

For video enthusiasts, the ZV-E10 II offers 5.6K oversampling, compressing large amounts of data into stunning 4K footage at up to 60 frames per second. It also includes Active Mode electronic image stabilization, utilizing a precision gyroscope and advanced algorithms to minimize camera shake.

The camera maintains the compact form factor of its predecessor while introducing a new vertical user interface (UI), which automatically switches from horizontal to vertical orientation, simplifying the creation of vertical content. It also features a vari-angle LCD monitor, enabling users to frame their shots from almost any angle.

Sony has also upgraded the battery to a large-capacity Z battery (NP-FZ100), providing up to 195 minutes of continuous video recording on a single charge. Additionally, the camera includes a USB 3.2 Type-C port for high-speed wired transfers to compatible smartphones or PCs.

The Sony ZV-E10 II will be available from August 27, 2024, at a price of Rs 94,990. As part of the launch, Sony is offering special perks, including an extended 3-year warranty (2 years standard + 1 year additional on product registration), a complimentary SD card (SF-E64A), and a carry bag (MII-HD1).
