Pelling is a picturesque town in the West Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim. Nestled at about 7,200 feet, Pelling is known for its breathtaking views of the Kanchenjunga, the third-highest mountain in the world. The town offers a serene escape with its lush green landscapes, tranquil environment, and rich cultural heritage.
Pelling is also a gateway to some of Sikkim’s most important monasteries, including Pemayangtse Monastery, and it serves as a base for trekkers exploring the surrounding Himalayas.
Here’s a travel vlog from my visit to this beautiful location.
