
At the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, Tata Motors unveiled the next evolution of its ultra-luxury concept, now called the Avinya X. This concept vehicle is set to become production-ready and is expected to hit the market in 2026. Positioned as Tata’s foray into the ultra-luxury segment, the Avinya X will elevate the brand into a price category far beyond its current range.
Tata Avinya Design Highlights
The Tata Avinya X has undergone significant design updates, transitioning from its earlier coupe-inspired silhouette to a more crossover-like aesthetic. Key elements of its new look include a high stance, large wheels, pop-out door handles, and sleek wrap-around headlamps and tail lamps. The rear design is minimalist, featuring a connected tail lamp and gloss-black bumpers.

Tata Avinya Interior and Features
Although the interiors remain tightly guarded, a sneak peek through the window revealed a three-screen display integrated into the dashboard and a fourth, freestanding screen mounted lower. Other standout features include a two-spoke steering wheel, a large central console, and several cutting-edge technologies, such as:
- V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) and V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) capabilities
- Panoramic sunroof
- Wireless phone charging
- Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
- Multi-zone climate control
Tata Avinya Performance and Platform


The Avinya X is expected to be based on JLR’s EMA (Electric Modular Architecture) platform, promising a minimum range of 500 km. It will offer both RWD and AWD configurations. While initially envisioned as an all-electric model, Tata may consider introducing an ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) variant to cater to diverse market demands in India.
