Yamaha has introduced the Yamaha Nmax 155 maxi scooter in India during the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. Derived from the Yamaha R15, this scooter shares the same engine as its sportier counterpart.

Boasting a stylish design, the Yamaha Nmax 155 showcases maxi-scooter aesthetics with a prominent front fascia and a rider-friendly feet-forward seating arrangement. The frontal section features a tall windscreen and LED lighting, complemented by predominantly blacked-out panels across the bodywork.

Powering the Nmax 155 is a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, identical to those found in the Yamaha Aerox 155, R15 V4, and the MT-15. With a power output of 14.9bhp and torque of 13.5Nm, the engine is mated to a CVT unit.
Noteworthy features include full-LED lighting and an LCD instrument cluster, enhancing the scooter’s appeal with a blend of performance and convenience. Excitingly, Yamaha is currently assessing the Nmax 155 for the Indian market, with plans for a potential launch later in the year.
