Actor Ranveer Singh is soon going to be rolling in the big bucks, as he’s on his way to become the highest-paid celebrity in the ka-ching world of advertising.
The actor has signed on no less than 10 ad campaigns. Among these are a top international sports label, a noodles brand, a Swiss watch, a travel portal and the all-important men’s ganji (hitherto only offered to the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan). What’s more, the number doing the rounds is a total kitty of over Rs 15 crore, just a little more than what he has commanded for a feature film.
Singh has said his endorsement spree is the result of losing out on several campaigns that came his way and had to be turned down on account of his bald pate in Bajirao Mastani. We hear his father even suggested he not tonsure his head, or wear a wig, to not lose out on lucrative deals. But Singh only had Bajirao on his mind, in which he gave the performance of his life.
What it also tells you is, if you wait long enough, the sky does come down to kiss your feet!
